EXTRAS FOR RIGHTEOUS KILL starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and 50 Cent

Grant Wilfley Casting Inc. is holding an open call for EXTRAS for the feature film RIGHTEOUS KILL starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and 50 Cent. This film is very detailed and there are many restaurant, club, street scenes, etc. set in Queens and Harlem, but filming in Connecticut. We are seeking actors who can portray rappers and hip hop artists at a sexy hip hop club, and Queens and Harlem neighborhood types. Please DRESS THE PART for the open call. ESPECIALLY those that would like to be considered for the SEXY HIP HOP CLUB! Seeking all ages especially hot ladies for the Hip Hop Club scene! Be prepared to have a digital photo taken and bring a headshot & resume.

The Simsbury Light Opera Company Gilbert & Sullivan's "The Gondoliers"

The Simsbury Light Opera Company (SLOCO), continuing its 60+ year tradition of bringing quality musical productions to the Farmington Valley, is looking for singers to join its Spring 2008 production of Gilbert & Sullivan's "The Gondoliers". This lively show set in Venice has many lead roles for all vocal types, as well as a large chorus.

AUDITION DATES & TIMES
September 16, 17 and 18, 2007, 7:00pm-9:30pm

LOCATION
First Church Simsbury
689 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury (at the corner of Rte. 202/10 and 167).

MUSIC
Principals: Those auditioning for principal roles should come prepared with a song from a Gilbert & Sullivan show or similar piece. An accompanist will be provided. Chorus: Chorus auditions will be held on all three nights, from 7:30-8:00 and 8:45-9:15. Please come prepared to sing “Dance a Cachuca” from Act II. You will be grouped with other singers to form Soprano/Alto/Tenor/Bass quartets.

‘CACHUCA’ WORKSHOP ON SEPTEMBER 10, 7:00pm
There will be a review of all vocal parts of “Dance a Cachuca” on Monday, September 10th at 7:00pm at SLOCO’s rehearsal facility, 5 Herman Rd., Simsbury, CT, off of Lordship Rd., near Simsbury Airport.

OPEN CALL SEASON AUDITION FOR ALL ROLES
will be held on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th
Sign in from 12 noon until 3pm.

-Prepare 16 bars uptempo and ballad.
-Bring Sheet Music (accompanist provided)
-Bring head shot (or recent snapshot) and resume.
-Those auditioning may be asked to read from one of the scripts.
-Those auditioning maybe asked to learn a brief dance routine.

Please note: There are no roles for boys and girls under the age of 12 this season.

If for any reason you cannot attend the open audition, simply m ail photo, resume and letter. Mention in the letter that you are unable to attend the audition! Mortal Kombat 3 in Hartford

Independent Mortal Kombat film being shot in Hartford CT for Public Access TV and online distribution. Seeking athletic males and females of ALL types and ages (Seeking a very diverse cast). Dancers, Martial Artists, and Gymnist types are heavily encouraged as well as others for the not so physical roles. Most parts are speaking. Will be lots of costumes, make-ups, and effects (This is a film based off a video game).

Project would make a great reel for anyone looking to get into stunts or trick work (or anyone looking to get away from constantly doing drama and horror all the time for that matter). Filming from September through December (so living closer is better). Movie has a young director that's going places. Be a part of this creative project.
